On Sunday, May 11 at 5 PM join Rabbi David and Quannah Combs, CSS…for a Whiskey and Scotch Tasting!
On Sunday, May 11 at 5 PM the Havurah in Ashland will host a Whiskey and Scotch Tasting with Quannah Combs, CSS. Combs will offer at least 10 different top Whiskeys and Scotches to taste and will teach the history and background of each one. He will be speaking about the history and tradition of distilling Scotch Whisky. Quannah has been involved with the alcohol beverage industry for almost 16 years, and completed his certification from the Society of Wine Educators to become a Certified Specialist of Spirits in March of 2013. He will explain single malts, blends, techniques and ingredients and how those affect the finished product. Whiskeys from the Dewar’s, Glenfiddich and Balvenie lines will be showcased.. Tickets will be sold in advance only, at the Music Coop, 168 E. Main St. in Ashland. $18 per person in advance, $22 at the door. Space is limited, so purchase tickets early.
