Mitzvah Match Challenge
The $13,300 Mitzvah Match Challenge; Every Dollar you Donate is Doubled!!

Dear Friends,
Next spring will mark the Havurah’s 30th year as a synagogue, and this year is Rabbi David’s 20th year as the Havurah’s rabbi. Wow!
Over the years the Havurah has hosted hundreds of baby namings, bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, memorials, and funerals; hundreds of concerts and cultural events; thousands of adult education classes; and innumerable Shabbat and holiday services. There is also the spiritual work that our synagogue has done in helping tens of thousands of people over the years to have a deeper and more personal connection to G-d and Yiddishkeit. We’ve offered a joyous approach to Judaism to all the people (Jewish and non-Jewish alike) who have joined us at our rituals and celebrations.
Today our Challenge Donors, the members and friends listed below, are presenting you with another opportunity to make a difference for the Havurah community. Every dollar you donate with be doubled because of their generosity! Dollar for dollar!! Instead of having an auction with a “Mitzvah Moment” this year we’re having a Mitzvah Matching Campaign. These members and friends of the Havurah, who are committed to our future, have pledged a grand total of $13, 300 as a challenge for the rest of us to match. In Hebrew the numerical value of the number “13” is LOVE. Won’t you show your love for the Havurah this season?

תודה רבה
In deep gratitude, with blessings for a light-filled holiday season,
