As you may already know Rabbi David’s graduate training was in teaching and writing poetry. In this four-part writing seminar Reb David will start each class with a sacred liturgical prayer-poems from Jewish, Christian, Sufi-Muslim, Native American, and Buddhist traditions. Participants will then learn how to emulate the style of the poetry of the masters to create their own unique expressions. No previous writing experience necessary but this class will be for entry level and more advanced writers alike. Four sessions: Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14 and 28. Call 541-488-7716 to pre-register.
